Project brief: Use of phytochemicals for the muscle recovery

Strenuous exercise is commonly associated with the development of delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) particularly in the individuals that are starting with the use of gyms and fitness facilities, and also with individuals that overtrain. Most common products on the market are in the forms of shakes and beverages and mainly focus on the use of protein supplement without the plant-based ingredients (phytochemicals).
